Engineers across the globe have been devising technologies to limit the spread of the coronavirus, either by killing it in the environment or reducing the points of contact between people. In this year of improvisation on the fly, the 2020 Mechanical Engineering magazine emerging technology awards are honoring innovations that responded in some way to the COVID-19 pandemic. This video celebrates the winners including UVD Robots, Medistar Corp, Advanced Kiosks, Starship Technologies, and Prusa Research.
